This tune was written by Liz Gilbert, whom you can easily find within soundcloud. We recorded it here in our bungalow in the coconut grove on Koh Phangan in Thailand. Kosma Solarius helped us with the mix and mastering for which we are very thankful.
Jackson has that bitter sweet edge that grabs your heart and won't let go.. The body of this song (drums, bass, and piano) was created by Ted Hall, vocals and guitar by Ea Birkett.

Star 2 Star is about non-language language & groove, about getting at emotion and intent without the specifics of words, and it's about following through with the philosophy of an idea. |

NOTE: this track is a bit loud and not eq'ed / i have processed a new eq'ed less loud version but have passed my monthly upload limit on soundcloud.. so i can't swap it out 'til the end of the month..damn!
You're laying in your hammock listening to the waves roll in, the little chirping critters. A soft warm breeze is keeping you cool. You're feeling pretty damn relaxed. Recorded with H2Zoom 24bit / 44Hz.

This version was recorded live at the Jam on Koh Phangan Thailand, by Kostsa Jagoulis, from a palm thatched roof wind blown stage right on the beach. The moon shimmering on the bay... Written by Liz Gilbert aka Anodyne2art. |

Exactly what you'd hear if you we're hanging in our hammock on the deck of our Thai jungle house.

Frogs, 360 degrees. One of the many surprises that awaited us after our first serious rain storm in the thai jungle was a frog concert. Picture yourself in the center of a pitch black damp jungle. You're wearing headphones attached to a hand-held recording unit, and you can hear many many things that you cannot see. The kind of dark where your breath sounds loud. I only lasted about 20 minutes until I was sure I could hear a cobra coming my way..

Warning: these guys are loud and alarm like. The cicadas are an everyday to the second occurrence, as if they have little cicada synchronized watches. 6:34pm is their synchronized start time and they sound off for around 10 minutes.. I've shortened this sample so that just as you experience their full velocity they're starting to taper off.

Dream Deferred is another gem that we have mined from Liz Gilbert's seemingly bottomless song cache. She wrote it, but we've made it our own.
